  41. CDCat ist DAS revolutionäre Katalogisierungs-System für den Amiga, mit ihm
  42. können sämtliche Arten von CDROMs (und ganz speziell Aminet-CDs), aber auch
  43. PD-Disketten und Festplatten bzw. Verzeichnisse (z.B. mit vielen Grafiken
  44. oder Musikmodulen) katalogisiert werden. (Test siehe APlus 12/97)

  46. CDCat "merkt" sich den Inhalt der Datenträger, indem er die Dateinamen mit der
  47. Verzeichnisstruktur und bei Aminet-CDs zusätzlich Größe, Alter und Beschreibung
  48. in einem "Scankatalog" auf der Festplatte ablegt, wobei in einem dieser
  49. Kataloge beliebig viele Datenträger enthalten sein dürfen.

  51. Nun ist CDCat in der Release 3 da, mit vielen neuen Features.

  95. CDCat (MUI) is a revolutionary cataloging system which allows
  96. catalogisation of all kind of CDRoms (especially Aminet-CDs),
  97. other device or directories (e.g with a lot of pictures etc).
  98.  
  99. It scans the contents of the device and saves it into a scancatalog
  100. on your hard disk. There is also a special Aminet mode that converts
  101. the INDEX files included on the Aminet-CDs into a special catalog
  102. format which also includes information about size, age and description.

  106.   · light speed Aminet mode which scans Aminet CDs in 3-5 sec and catalogs
